Cat Pack is a sports-based program for neighborhood children in grades 5 through 8. Saint Ignatius High school student volunteers guide kids through a series of sports, and help them to acquire skills such as sportsmanship, respect, integrity and understanding the importance of team-building. Cat Pack is a seasonal program that requires a 9-week volunteer commitment. Each season of Cat Pack ends with the Arrupe Cup, a time-honored tradition loved by all. Each program begins with a half hour of Faith Formation and reflection prior to joining the 5th through 8th graders for sports.
Program is divided into two separate sessions: Mondays 3:30-5:30 p.m. and Tuesdays 3:30-5:30 p.m.
