Saint Ignatius High School

Alumni Spirituality

From seasonal and annual retreats, to reunions and Masses, to daily prayer emails, we offer our alumni many ways to continue their Ignatian spirituality well beyond graduation.

Saint Ignatius wants its students to take the lessons, experiences and faith formation they gained here and carry them forth into the world as alumni. To that end, several opportunities exist for alumni to remain spirituality grounded, even long after their graduation.

Alumni Memorial Mass

During November, the church remembers the holy souls. This time provides all of us an opportunity to deepen our faith in the Resurrection, as well as to remind us of the spiritual presence of our deceased relatives and friends with whom we will one day be reunited.

Annual Alumni Retreat

Alumni of all ages gather for a two-day, one-night retreat — planned and led exclusively by Saint Ignatius alumni. With time for prayer, witness talks, faith-sharing and socializing, the Alumni Retreat helps Wildcats of all ages take stock of their lives, observe the places where God is calling them and recognize his presence in their worlds.

The 2024 Alumni Retreat will be held on February 9-10, 2024 at the Jesuit Retreat Center in Parma, Ohio. Register today!

Spirituality Program for Adults (S.P.A.)

More than 1,500 people in the Saint Ignatius community have participated in the 8-week, pray-at-home retreat program run by the Spirituality Program for Adults, which is called An Introduction to Ignatian Spirituality. For people who need a boost in their prayer life, or seek to reconnect with their faith, or just want to learn more about Ignatian spirituality—this is the retreat for you. We also offer a 5-week Men's Ignatian Retreat in the fall.

Retreats take place annually, with morning and evening offerings in fall and spring. Click the links or visit the S.P.A. page of the website for more information.

Men’s Retreat

Saint Ignatius is offering a five-week men’s retreat annually on campus. Led by seasoned spiritual directors this retreat brings men to St. Mary’s Chapel for instruction in Ignatian prayer, faith-sharing and fellowship.

  • Pray With Us

Through the Spiritual Exercises St. Ignatius shows us we can find God in all things, and we are encouraged to enter a relationship with Christ. The Saint Ignatius Prayer Website invites you to draw closer to God. May it assist in reminding you of God’s presence in our daily activities.
