Reduction Application
All current
students who would like to apply for tuition assistance for the
2010-2011 school year must complete a Private School Aid Service
Application. The completed application along with the
supporting documents must be mailed to Private School Aid Service, P.O. Box 770728, Lakewood, Ohio
44107-0034
and postmarked by
May 1, 2010.
Your family will be notified in writing by early June.
Please note that
in divorced, separated, or single families Saint Ignatius High School
requires that both parents complete a PSAS application to be considered
for aid.

Saint Ignatius High School does not offer scholarships of any type to our students. Rather, the school reduces tuition for students whose families show a demonstrated financial need. Tuition for the 2009/2010 school year is $11,420. A total of over three and a half million dollars has been allocated so that we may reduce tuition for families who have a demonstrated financial need. Nearly forty five percent of Saint Ignatius students are paying reduced tuition for the 2009/2010 school year.
Tuition reduction awards are distributed in the form of grant aid to the student and his family. The grant can be renewed on a yearly basis so long as the family completes the Private School Aid Service forms and there has been no significant change in the family’s financial status.

While Tuition Reduction Packages will be distributed prior to the application process, the receipt of an award letter neither guarantees admission nor is an appropriate gauge to determine the admissibility of the student. All decisions regarding tuition reduction are separate from the Admission Process and are determined by the family’s demonstrated need.
