Saint Ignatius High School

Health & Physical Education

Heath and Physical Education courses instruct young men in physical fitness and well-being, and include CPR training. Students also learn teamwork, focus, skill-building and how to score different sports.

The Health and Physical Education Department contributes to the school mission to form our students into “Men for Others” by supporting the development of the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.  Through our physical education curriculum, we teach teamwork and good sportsmanship in addition to the importance of physical fitness.  Our health classes ensure that students understand the value of good emotional, physical and mental health.
