Students volunteer to work with neighborhood children after school through sports, homework, arts and robotics

For nearly 15 years, the Labre Ministry has spent Sunday nights sharing food and friendship with Cleveland’s homeless.

Upperclassmen bury the dead with dignity in the school’s largest student organization, the pallbearer ministry.

Students prepare and deliver more than 700 food baskets to needy Cleveland families in this 80-plus year Christmas tradition.

For the 2023-2024 school year, four young alumni are working closely with the Christian Action Team, Sophomore Service, the Welsh Academy and Arrupe through the Alumni Discernment and Volunteer Program. Opportunities for professional development, discernment and networking, plus free Ohio City living, are provided.

Since 1985, the Magis Award has honored extraordinary individuals or families who are committed to Saint Ignatius High School and exemplify the magis, a Latin word meaning "more."

For the past eight years, Tom Healey has written bi-weekly blogs sharing reflections on the gospel, worldly events, campus life and really, anything imaginable. His hope was to continue the Saint Ignatius education, connect with past and present students and families, and bring to light the essentials of our Faith. After 832 blogs, he humbly has done just that and so much more.

Saint Ignatius High School is excited to announce our new "Give a Roar" peer-to-peer recognition program, which allows employees an opportunity to nominate co-workers for mission-driven actions that go above and beyond their assigned work responsibilities.
