Christmas Concert 2012 at Severance Hall

Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.

Dear Friends

of Saint Ignatius High School

To invite you to the 28th annual Saint Ignatius High School Cleveland Orchestra Christmas Concert is my pleasure. This promises to be another unforgettable evening where we gather as a community to welcome the coming of Christ and celebrate the faith and friendships that are the hallmarks of our Saint Ignatius family.

This year the Magis Award will be presented to someone who has dedicated most of his life to Saint Ignatius High School. Chuck Kyle '69 has inspired and impacted the lives of thousands of Ignatius men in the areas of academics and athletics. From the field where he builds men, to the classroom where he can be found quoting Shakespeare and Chaucer, his power to motivate students, faculty and staff is always inspiring. This past December he led the Saint Ignatius Wildcats Football team to its 11th State Championship, and continues to have the longest coaching career in Saint Ignatius High School history. We proudly honor his accomplishments and the impact he has had on our boys and our school.

It is your generosity and support that continues to enhance the education of Ignatius students. The proceeds of the Christmas Concert directly support the tuition assistance program for families of modest means. Thank you for your commitment and great loyalty to Saint Ignatius High School.

I look forward to seeing you on December 2.

Yours in Christ,

Rev. William J. Murphy, S.J.
President
